**BOCES Students**
We have a ton of these! I am trying to make sure we get them all. If we don't have yours, bring it in!!

The athletic website has practice times on it with game schedules located here.
Friday’s games demonstrated our athletes' resilience and grit. As a former Lumber Jack once taught me, these are the skills that will help as adults. Both games had an awesome fans and were close! The girls soccer team got stranger and stronger as the game went on. The Football team had a great come from behind. Great job Jacks!

Fall Sports are back in game action. In fact, they've been practicing for two weeks at the varsity level and just a little over a week at the modified level. It's amazing how our coaches are able to get phones out of the kid's hands and cleats on their feets (a little Dr. Seuss like writing there).
So let's see here, we have Football - both varsity and modified, Soccer - both varsity and modified, Cross Country - both varsity and modified, and Volleyball, well, we have varsity, JV, and modified. In all, we have over 140 of our students participating in a Fall sport this season. That's pretty good!
This coming week marks a fun one too! Back to school with home sporting events on Wednesday and Friday as well.
On Wednesday, September 7:
Modified and Varsity Soccer will take on the Bulldogs of Chateaugay starting at 4:30 at the LPQ fields. Modified will play out back of the school and varsity down below. Let's bring one a victory - that is the goal.
Modified and Varsity Volleyball will travel up to Salmon River to take on the Shamrocks starting at 5:00. The girls look to bump, set and spike their way home with a victory.
On Friday, September 9:
Modified Volleyball will make the haul up to Malone to battle it out with the Huskies starting at 5:00. The girls look to silence those pooches and show them who's boss.
JV and Varsity Volleyball will play host to the Huskies of Malone here in the Sawmill starting at 5:00. Let's pack the gym and show the Huskies how the Lumberjacks do it!
On Saturday, September 10:
Modified Football will travel to Canton for a 10:00 a.m. scrimmage against the Canton Bears and the Chiefs of Saranac Central. It will be an early bus ride, but the boys plan to wake up their opponents when we get there.
Modified and Varsity Soccer will kickoff at 10:00 a.m. up in Brushton as they take on the Panthers in another league game. The girls will keep the ball rolling and tame those pesky Panthers.
Lastly, Varsity Football will travel to Adirondack Central for a 3:00 p.m. start against the Groton Indians. This neutral site matchup will be a thriller so break out your GPS and leave Tupper early so you don't miss the start.
Let's come out and support our Student-Athletes. See you there! And as always, thanks for being an athletic supporter.
