Teacher Aide
(Special Education)
Position: To assist as a teacher aide for a student with a
significant physical disability in a Special Education classroom as directed by
the teacher.
Qualifications: Candidates must be able to work well with students
with disabilities, be willing to perform personal care as well as implement
daily activity goals as designed by Special Education Teacher and
therapists. Must also have the ability
to work in a team environment with the classroom teacher, other
paraprofessionals, and other specialists.
Salary: Salary is as per the Support Staff
Contract. Starting rate is $9.21 per
hour.
Schedule: This position will be for student school days and
staff development days during the school year (approximately 185 days). The workday is 7 hours per day and follows
the school day.
