Teacher Aide
(Special Education)
Position: To assist as a teacher aide for a student with a
significant learning disability in Special Education and General Education
classrooms as directed by the teacher.
Qualifications: Candidates must be able to work well with
students with disabilities, be ready to provide positive behavioral support under the
direction of the Special Education Teacher and counselor. Must also have the ability to be flexible and
work in a team environment with the classroom teacher and other
paraprofessionals.
Salary: Salary is as per the Support Staff
Contract. Starting rate is $9.21 per
hour.
Schedule: This position will be for student school days and
staff development days during the school year (approximately 185 days). The workday is 7 hours per day and follows
the school day.
